| Drama Songkok Memey Suhaiza & Mubarak Majid Posted: 16 May 2011 04:19 AM PDT Nilai Kasih Sayang ditonjolkan RTM Dalam Drama Bersiri Songkok Di TV1 Mustafa, seorang pembuat songkok tradisional. Namun tiada seorang pun dari zuriatnya yang mahu diperturunkan bakatnya itu. Arus pemodenan dan cara pemikiran anak anaknya yang kaya dengan IT membuatkan mereka alpa dan lupa bahawa jasa songkoklah yang membesarkan dan memberi mereka pelajaran hinggalah dapat mengenal dunia yang serba canggih yang menjadi teras hidup mereka kini. Namun Mustafa tidak berdendam malah jauh sekali berkecil hati dengan sikap anak-anaknya itu. Chong Lee rakan sedari zaman mudanya amat memahami perasaan temannya itu. Dia tahu bertapa bermaknanya songkok pada Mustafa. Dia juga tahu bertapa kerana songkok buatan tangan Mustafa itu juga telah menyelamatkan nyawanya suatu masa dahulu.
Tanpa diduga anak Chong Lee, Chong Wu atau lebih senang dipanggil Wu seakan jatuh cinta dengan seni membuat songkok yang halus lagi teliti oleh mustafa itu. Setelah berkali kali Chong Lee memujuk teman rapatnya agar menerima Wu sebagai anak muridnya akhirnya Mustafa bersetuju. Begitu kisah yang melatari drama bersiri Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) bertajuk Songkok, setiap Jumaat, jam 3.30 petang mengisi slot Kasturi di TV1. Dibintangi oleh Mubarak Majid, Fadilah Mansor, Z.Zamrie, Memey Suhaiza, Ng Hung Shen, Irfan Roslan, Chomat Samad dan Taha Wahid sepanjang 13 episod siarannya, Songkok sarat memaparkan nilai kasih sayang tidak kira bangsa, agama mahupun budaya di samping ikatan kekeluargaan yang kuat dalam watak yang diketengahkan. Kisahnya bermula dengan memaparkan situasi gerai songkok Mustafa lengang, sesepi surau dikampung yang diduduki Mustafa dan isterinya Ziaton itu. Hanya segelintir golongan tua yang memenuhi jemaah disurau itu. Dan kebanyakan warga belia seperti anak-anak Mustafa, Daris dan Iwan yang telah berhijrah kebandar bagi mengejar kehidupan yang lebih menjamin masa hadapan mereka atau sebenarnya mengejar materialistik dan kebendaan. Kini yang tinggal bersama Mustafa dan Ziaton hanyalah anak tunggal perempuan mereka iaitu Zara. Zara yang sedang belajar ditingkatan lima juga turut berikrar untuk menjejak langkah seperti abang-abangnya untuk meninggalkan kampung dan mahu bergelar warga kota. Dia agak malu dengan karenah ayahnya yang sering bercakap dan menceritakan kisah kisah merdeka kepada setiap orang yang ditemuinya. Ini kerana dibelakang Mustafa ramai yang mencemuhnya. Maka bermulalah hidup Wu sebagai pembuat songkok. Ramai teman Wu mencemuh Wu kerana berjinak dalam bidang yang jauh tersasar dari budaya dan kepercayaan mereka itu. Namun Wu tidak memperdulikan kata kata hinaan mereka itu. Jauh disidut hatinya, Wu sedar bertapa dia dan terutama sekali bapanya terhutang nyawa pada Mustafa dan songkoknya itu. Pada satu malam tanpa diduga, Daris dan Iwan pulang kerumah Mustafa. Tujuan mereka Cuma satu, iaitu untuk membawa Mustafa, Ziaton dan Zara tinggal bersama mereka dibandar. Daris dan Iwan menyatakan mereka mahu membalas budi ayah mereka dan mahu ibubapa serta adik kesayangan mereka mengecapi kemewahan yang dinikmati mereka di ibukota itu. Namun niat murni mereka itu tidak dipersetujui oleh Mustafa. Antara memenuhi hasrat seorang anak yang mahu menyenangkan ibu dan bapanya atau perniagaan songkok yang telah sebati dalam hidupnya apakah yang menjadi pilihan Mustafa? Saksikan kesudahannya dalam Songkok, setiap Jumaat, jam 3.30 petang di TV1.

| Showdown 2011 Top 11 Crews Step It Up Posted: 16 May 2011 03:10 AM PDT TOP ELEVEN CREWS STEP IT UP!! WHO WILL BE ELIMINATED THIS WEEK? SHOWDOWN 2011 has now gone LIVE! The countless turns, jumps, isolation of body parts, flips, stands and crazy spins are just a modest account of what we've seen on SHOWDOWN 2011, as the crews battle it out towards earning themselves the SHOWDOWN 2011 Championship title and the grand prize of a massive RM50,000 cash! From the hundreds of aspiring dance crews that swarmed in for auditions, rounds of eliminations, auditions, battles, the MELTDOWN phase and the first LIVE show – we now have the spot light on the top 11.
The SHOWDOWN 2011 LIVE show takes place at the official venue I-City, Shah Alam, every Wednesday at 9.30pm. This week catch the Top 11 crews drop the hippest moves to the 80's theme as they show off their coolest skill in front of a LIVE audience, leaving it up to the Malaysian public to determine the bottom 4 crews via SMS voting. The four crews with the least amount of votes will have to BATTLE it out for the judges before they decide which crew gets eliminated. To vote for your favourite crew type SD CREW CODE and send it to 33399. For 5 or 10 votes type SD5 or SD 10 CREW CODE and send it to 33399. It would then be up to the star studded judge panel made up of award-winning rapper/album producer Joe Flizzow of Too Phat and renowned dancer/choreographer Maple Loo to determine who was to get eliminated! Last week has brought us to the top 11 dance crews of the competition, as SHOWDOWN 2011 bidded goodbye to EGS Monsters. The crews that have engraved their names in the Top 11 include, Panic, Force 136, Bounce Stepperz, Dejavu Breakers, Borneo Crew, Elecoldxhot, Blazin Squad, HMC Phlow, Roku Steps, Stepholic and Soulution. Hosted by Fly.FM's reputed deejay Hafiz Hatim and showcasing a star studded judge panel, SHOWDOWN 2011 is also telecasted LIVE on 8TV every Wednesday at 9:30pm.
