| Keputusan Pilihanraya DUN Tenang N05 : BN ( Mohd Azhar Ibrahim ) Menang Majoriti 3706 Posted: 30 Jan 2011 06:52 AM PST  Calon BN ( Mohd Azhar Ibrahim ) menang besar di DUN Tenang N05 dengan majoriti besar 3706, dan berikut disertakan laporan terkini daripada Mstar :  LABIS: Barisan Nasional (BN)mencapai kemenangan besar mempertahankan kerusi N.05 Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Tenang dengan majoriti 3,706 undi pada pilihan raya kecil yang diadakan pada Ahad. Keputusan diumumkan oleh Pegawai Pengurus Pilihan Raya, Md Asri Amir di Pusat Penjumlahan Undi Rasmi di Dewan Serbaguna Majlis Daerah Labis di sini pada pukul 10 malam, Ahad. Proses pengundian tetap dijalankan dalam suasana banjir teruk melanda Labis hingga menyebabkan jalan-jalan utama dari kampung terputus hubungan. Namun, calon BN dari Umno, Mohd Azhar Ibrahim berjaya menewaskan pencabarnya Normala Sudirman dari Parti Islam SeMalaysia (PAS). Mohd Azhar yang juga bekas Penolong Pegawai Daerah di Pejabat Tanah Daerah Kecil Rengit meraih 6,699 undi berbanding Normala yang hanya mendapat 2,992 undi. Pilihan raya kecil DUN Tenang diadakan berikutan kematian penyandanganya, Datuk Sulaiman Taha 59, akibat jangkitan kuman dalam darah dan penyakit kencing manis di Hospital Pakar Ampang Puteri, Kuala Lumpur pada 17 Disember tahun lalu. Pada pilihan raya umum 2008, Allahyarham Sulaiman menewaskan calon PAS, Mohd Saim Siran. Majoriti yang diperoleh Mohd Azhar adalah 3,707 undi, berbanding 2,492 yang diperoleh Sulaiman pada pilihan raya umum 2008. Hujan lebat yang turun sejak awal pagi sehingga mengakibatkan banjir menyebabkan para pengundi terpaksa dibawa ke tempat-tempat mengundi dengan menaiki trak tentera dan bot. Keadaan cuaca buruk bagaimanapun tidak menghalang lebih kurang 72 peratus pengundi untuk keluar menunaikan tanggungjawab mereka pada pilihan raya kecil kali ini. BN memperolehi majoriti di tiga daripada empat pusat mengundi kawasan Cina iaitu di Bandar Labis Timur, Labis dan Tenang malah pengaruh PAS di kubu kuatnya di Bandar Labis Tengah turut terhakis. Keseluruhannya BN berjaya meraih 40 peratus undi Cina. Sokongan kepada BN di kawasan-kawasan Felda dan kampung-kampung Melayu turut meningkat. Tiga kawasan Felda, iaitu Felda Tenang, Felda Chemplak Barat dan Felda Chemplak menunjukkan majoriti meningkat BN daripada 1,966 undi pada 2008 kepada 2,241. Sementara itu, undi kaum India turut beralih kepada BN di mana majoriti undi di dua kawasan penduduk India meningkat daripada 260 pada 2008 kepada 365. Direct Email  |

Oleh itu, keputusan penuh pilihanraya DUN Tenang di jangka di umum jam 9.30 malam. Keputusan Tidak Rasmi : 7.15pm Naib Presiden PAS Datuk Mahfuz Omar dalam laman Twitter mengucapkan tahniah kepada BN kerana berjaya mempertahankan kerusi tersebut. Keputusan tidak rasmi menunjukkan BN mendapat sekitar 6,698 undi manakala PAS mendapat 2,2,963 undi. 7.01pm: BN 4,712, PAS 2090, maj 2,622 6.57pm Ladang Bukit Dato: BN 351, PAS 99, maj 252 6.52pm BN 4,420, PAS 2,033, majoriti 2,387.
