Sebanyak tujuh buah kumpulan muzik dari Pulau Pinang mengambil bahagian seperti Sleepside, Gensekii, Past Times And Tragedies, Star Sceram, GPMG, Sakura, Persis, termasuk 3 kumpulan iaitu Nitrus, Iamneeta dan Oh Chentaku dari Kuala lumpur. Gig "Ekspres RnR ini akan menjelajah seluruh semenanjung yang akan menampilkan kumpulan-kumpulan muzik tempatan di setiap lokasi gigs. Selain mencungkil bakat-bakat baru kumpulan muzik tempatan, Stesen SENI memberi peluang kepada anak-anak muda untuk berdikari untuk mejayakan setiap gigs yang akan di anjurkan.
